The annual insurance-audit revenue table, sales tax collected by state, and California
sales — rebuilt from the legacy RJMetrics accounting reports on defined, reproducible
bases (see method notes at the bottom before submitting anything).
Revenue for annual insurance policy years, Jul 1 – Jun 30 · excludes cancelled orders
Primary numbers are on the audit basis: gross sales =
actual transacted sales for the policy period (the canonical 8-status filter), including
delivery charges billed to customers, excluding sales tax collected (shown as a memo
column) and excluding quote paper entirely — the standard ISO "gross sales" premium basis.
All category splits (SS18, warehouses, dropship) use the same basis, at post-discount
line Net Sales. The last column preserves the legacy submissions' basis (all non-cancelled
orders — inflated ~35-40% by unconverted quotes and Quote Filled shadows) for continuity
with prior filings; flag the basis change to the insurance agent when submitting.
Column decode: SS18 guns = imported house dispensing guns (import
liability). AZ warehouse (Columbia) = product physically shipped from the
SSCOLUMBIA warehouse via goods-out notes; Flagstaff likewise.
Dropshipped product = product the company never physically handles
(the legacy "All Products - AZ WH" column).
Sales tax collected by state counted orders with tax > 0, by quarter keyed
Filing support — the top 10 states by tax collected over the last 8 quarters.
Amounts are tax collected from customers (the Tax column), not tax owed;
reconcile against your nexus filings.
